British Council Rwanda

Every year we train over 15,000 local teachers at the request of the Government of Rwanda, universities, NGOs, community schools and state schools.

The participating teachers are from the state sector and community based organisations who are actively participating in the development of education in their areas.

We also support the work of the Association of Teachers of English in Rwanda (ATER), a developing network of English teachers who share best practice and ideas. If you would like more information about ATER please contact kanrukundo@gmail.com
